Sculpting a Vase/Bowl on a Mini Wheel 101 - Lynette Barker

Air dry clay will be used, so no kiln is needed. Items will be completed in class. Personal guidance will be given to each student. Scale is 1:12. Completed items will be about 1 inch tall. No tiny pieces are handled. Good eye hand coordination is helpful. Techniques of wedging, centering, opening the clay, pulling up walls, shaping, bellying the clay, and finishing will be taught. Several Finishes will be supplied to complete artwork.
SUNDAY, June 30, 8am - 12pm. 4 hour class.
TOOLS REQUIRED: extra lighting, if desired
MATERIALS SUPPLIED by Teacher: all tools, wheels, clay and instructions provided by the instructor for use during class. Wheels, tools and clay may be purchased after class.
