The class will teach molding with Amazing mold putty. There will be samples from my mold library to make molds from. Everyone will receive enough supplies for the class (to make 1-2 molds) and to take molding putty home. I will discuss different types of resins. And which ones are best for what use. I will provide enough resin to cast from their molds . Students will work in small groups (3-4 students) to cast their group molds. Everyone should go home with 3-4 items at a minimum. We will be casting with smooth cast resin. It’s a safe, low vapor, very fast setting plastic resin.
CAUTION: if resin gets on clothing-it will NOT come out. Do not wear good clothes. Or wear something over your clothes.
Instructor Supplies: mold materials, samples, resin
Student Brings: exacto knife and sanding stick, apron or smock as your clothing will be permanently damaged if resin gets on it.

To protect our Teachers from unnecessary expenses, cancellations prior to April 1, 2026 will be processed less a $35 processing fee. There are no refunds after April 2, 2026 - if there is a kit for your class it will be sent to you.
